It's been awhile since I've made a post here. I had a lot going on in life, including running two half marathons. I was also a little burned-out from doing the challenge, so I took a little break. Yesterday, I decided to get back into it.
On the way home from work, I stopped at Metcalfes by West Towne. I saw this woman that was smiling and she just looked like such a warm and friendly person, that I had to talk to her. We talked for a little bit and I found out that she's a nurse. She just recently moved to Madison. I found that the smile didn't lie: she was actually quite friendly. I also felt really comfortable talking to her, and said as much to her. She said she felt the same way. I told her that we should talk again and asked her for her number, which she gave to me.
After all my time away from doing the challenges, this was a great way to get back into it.
