Lately there's been a dismaying trend at Target @ Hilldale: a bunch of loud, obnoxious college kids. I get annoyed just being there, so I didn't really stay long enough to try to approach anyone.
On the way home I stopped at HyVee and met a nice woman from Canada. She's a graduate student at the university. At first, she was a bit skeptical, thinking I might be trying to sell her something. So, I told her about my challenges, and we talked about that. It was my first opportunity to give out one of my new business cards with my blog info on it.
