The first approach was in Walmart (hey, I was there buying spraypaint on the cheap, don't judge me!) I went up to this woman and introduced myself. I found out that she was a dog trainer and we talked about the merits of positive reinforcement vs negative reinforcement in both dogs and people. I told her about the challenge and she said that she thought it was a really cool idea. I think she might actually do a 30-day challenge of her own, which would be really cool. If you're reading this, do it! When the 30 days are over, you'll be glad you did, I promise!
The next approach was a very brief one. I was walking outside at Hilldale and this woman was passing by, so I introduced myself. I asked what she did and she said she was in a hurry to get back to work.
The third approach was a woman at Target. She looks like a woman that I've seen that lives in my apartment building. Turns out she wasn't.
The fourth approach was also outside of Hilldale, while walking back to my car. I said hello, then introduced myself. She said she was waiting for her boyfriend, so I said "cool."
All-in-all not a bad Saturday. The first approach was one of the best conversations I've had so far.
